OECP / NCCCO
Updated On: Oct 19, 2018

OECP Executive Director Jim Leslie said; “IUOE members in good standing with nationally accredited crane operator certifications can now get their certification from our nationally accredited, Fed OSHA recognized program for crane operator competency.” Jim Leslie also made the point that the OECP is “by Operating Engineers, for Operating Engineers.”

Those members who need to recertify their crane operator certifications may do so by obtaining the required “Application for Recertification” by contacting the OECP main office by phone at 951-351-4001, or on the OECP’s website at www.oecp.org. The OECP offers certifications to members of the IUOE with funding through its National Training Fund at “NO CHARGE” to either eligible members, or its signatory contractors. Additionally, OECP offers the written recertification examination at all participating IUOE training sites, and now at over 500 computer based testing sites throughout North America, again at “NO CHARGE” to members.
