Apprenticeship Application

Application Process:  

To apply for the Apprenticeship Program,

you must submit  an application and the

following documents to the

Training Center Office within the deadline of: 

The Application being post marked no later than

February 10th 2017 Dear Applicant;


Thank you for your interest in the Operating Engineers Apprenticeship;

If you would like an application sent to you from the

Western States Operating Engineers Training Institute,

Please call the office at (509) 235-9393 and we'll be happy to send you one.

To make sure that your application is considered,

it must be legible and thoroughly filled out.

 Also, please enclose the following items: 


*A Copy of your Certified Birth Certificate 

*A Copy of your Social Security Card           

*A Copy of your Valid Driver’s License

*A Copy of your High School Diploma & Transcripts

or a Copy of   your G.E.D                                   

*Two Letters of Reference

(From someone other than a family members)    

*1-page Resume


Applications are due back within 30 days of receipt to be considered for the

2017 Class.                                                                                  

The application may be returned in person or mailed to:    

WSOETI,  PO  BOX  210,  SPANGLE  WA  99031.


Any applications post-marked after Feb. 10th 2017 will not be considered for the 2017 class.

We will keep all of the information we receive from you on file and if your qualifications

match our needs, you will hear from us by phone or mail to schedule an interview around the 

beginning to middle of March 2017.


Interviews will be held in Spangle, Tri-Cities and Pocatello.

If you are selected for the Apprenticeship Training Program;

we will inform you of the start date of the Safety and Orientation classes.

There is a $TBD tuition for the six week

Safety and Orientation Program.

This money will need to be secured before the

start of class.
